This listing is for a 100g skein of self-striping 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon sock/fingering/4-ply yarn, dyed to order in your choice of colours.  Each colour will be approximately 3m long per stripe, meaning you will have a self-striping yarn for narrow projects such as socks, wristwarmers, mittens, etc.

You can also add a mini skein for your heels, toes, or cuffs.  The colour will be determined by the choice of your stripe colours - so if you choose red and white stripes, you'll get a green mini.  The mini skein will fit on a standard swift.

If you would like other colours please ask!

100g = approx 425m/464yds.
20g mini skein = approx 85m/92yds

PLEASE NOTE: The skein you will receive is very, very long - a loop of 6m! There is no way to wind this into a cake/ball for use on a single swift, although if you have two umbrella swifts it can be done with care.  You will need space to loop the skein around two chair backs (for example), put your pedometer on and get walking as you wind!  Alternatively, you can choose to pay a little extra to have it wound for you.  Two pictures have been taken to try to give you an idea of skein length untwisted.

All yarns are dyed using acid dyes.  These are liquid dyes and as such can bleed into each other very slightly during dyeing. You may get a touch of green in the red, or a little yellow or blue at the end of the green, where it meets the white, for example.

Colours are represented as best I can, but please remember that all monitors are different.  Please note that the colours are likely to be semi-solid, as is common with hand dyed yarns.
All yarns are hand dyed and therefore no two skeins are exactly the same.
