Hand dyed Self-Striping sock yarn on a Superwash Merino/Nylon base in green and speckles.

Green, and speckles of red, black and green on a natural base.

The base is a 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon sock/fingering/4-ply yarn. The two colours repeat throughout, creating roughly equal stripes on narrow items such as socks, mittens, etc.

100g = approx 425m/464yds.

PLEASE NOTE: The skein you will receive is very, very long - a loop of 6m! There is no way to wind this into a cake/ball for use on a single swift, although if you have two it can be done with care. You will need space to loop the skein around two chair backs (for example), put your pedometer on and get walking as you wind! Alternatively, you can choose to pay a little extra to have it wound for you. Two pictures have been taken to try to give you an idea of skein length untwisted. You will receive a twisted skein shown in the first picture.

All yarns are dyed using acid dyes.
Although superwash yarns can be gently machine washed cold, I recommend you gently wash your finished project in cold water, shape and lay flat to dry.
