Hand knitted in hand dyed superwash merino/nylon 4ply yarn, this shawl is a scalene triangle with gentle curves at the top points. The shawl features purple and silver grey stripes, with purple and pink speckles on the grey. The shawl is modelled by my able assistant, Desdemona.
The shawl measures approximately 59"/150cm in length and 15"/38cm in height direct from the top to the bottom at the widest point.
Whilst this yarn can be gently machine washed I would suggest hand washing your shawl gently, in cold water with a suitable wool wash, and then shaping and drying flat, to help preserve the detail and shape of the item.
This scarf has been knitted from the Hug Shot pattern, designed by Casapinka, using yarn that I have dyed myself.
