The base is a 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon sock/fingering/4-ply yarn.
The two colours repeat throughout, creating roughly equal stripes on narrow items such as socks, mittens, etc. 100g = approx 425m/464yds.
PLEASE NOTE: The skein you will receive is very, very long - a loop of 6m! There is no way to wind this into a cake/ball for use on a single swift, although if you have two it can be done with care. You will need space to loop the skein around two chair backs (for example), put your pedometer on and get walking as you wind! Two pictures have been taken to try to give you an idea of skein length untwisted - you will receive a twisted skein shown in the first picture. Alternatively, you can choose to pay a little extra to have it wound into a cake for you - please allow a little longer for your order to be processed if you choose this option.
