Greens and golds have been dyed using only the heat from the sun to set the dyes. Using a glass jar in full sun in my garden, enough heat has generated to enable the setting process.
This base is a 75% superwash BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) wool and 25% nylon sock/fingering/4-ply yarn.
